NEW signing Leroy Huggins marked his debut by scoring the winner as Margate beat Tooting 2-1 last night to claim their first victory of 2010.

Striker Huggins joined from Ryman 1 North side VCD on the morning of the game and rose to head home a Dan Stubbs cross midway through the second half.

Earlier, Sam Jones' header put Blues in front, with Simon Parker equalising.

Blues remain bottom of the Ryman Premier, eight points from safety, ahead of a relegation six-pointer at Billericay on Saturday.
