Guitar signed by James Blunt to be auctioned by Invicta FM
The Kent commercial station based at Whitstable is clearing its airwaves for an all-day auction for its Help A Kent Child charity.
Breakfast presenter James from Chestfield will host the 12-hour marathon from 6am to 6pm.
Other lots on offer include tickets to Who wants to be a Millionaire with after-show drinks with Chris Tarrant; return flights to Le Touquet including lunch with www.goaviation.net; a tour of Chapel Down vineyard; a box for eight at Gillingham FCand a chance to made a radio show at Invicta's studios in London's Leicester Square.
Listeners were able to start bidding for the items today on-line at invictafm.com/charity.
James said: "Since it's launch in 2003 Help a Kent Child has given away thousands of pounds in grants to charities and organisations within the county. After this auction we hope to give a happy New Year to more charities which support the children of Kent."
