Pensioner falls down 10ft gap outside Tunbridge Wells dentist

An 89-year--old woman was trapped after falling 10ft through a gap at a Tunbridge Wells dentist.

She was freed following a complicated rescue operation on Thursday lunchtime.

The pensioner had fallen between the edge of the car park and the outside of Blockley Partnership's basement.

Mount Ephraim was closed while emergency services freed her.

Kent Air Ambulance was scrambled but the woman was taken to Kent and Sussex Hospital. It is understood she was discharged on Friday.
