Flagpole phone mast in Langton Green rejected

Mobile phone giant O2's appeal against its refused application for three antennas made to look like a flagpole on the Spa Hotel, Mount Ephraim, was dismissed.
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council had refused permission in May and the communications company appealed the decision to the Planning Inspectorate.
But the inspectorate this week declined, stating the planned flagpole was "too bulky", "an unfortunate addition to the roof", "detracts from the appearance of the building", and gave an "unfortunate and harmful impact on the skyline".
