Former teaching assistant from Dover pleads guilty to sexual offence charges
A FORMER teaching assistant has pleaded guilty to sexual offences involving children under 16.
Shaun Burford, of Coombe Valley Road, Dover, worked at Christ Church School in Ashford. He appeared at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday to enter guilty pleas.

Guilty: Shaun Burford has pleaded guilty to sexual offence charges.
He was charged with causing or inciting a girl aged between 13 and 15 to engage in sexual activity and causing a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity.
The 44-year-old has been instructed to register as a sex offender immediately and will be sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on July 3.
Ashford Child Abuse Investigation Unit began looking into allegations against Burford in January 2008.
Detective Constable Kath Way said: "We are pleased that this lengthy investigation has reached a successful conclusion."
