The musical tells of the trials and tribulations of being 13 in Appleton, Indiana.
When Evan Goldman is forced to move from New York when his parents get divorced he just wants to survive the school year. But that is easier said than done.
Student Ben Porro stars as Evan and Jack Bounds plays his best friend Archie, who suffers from muscular dystrophy.
The music, by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, is played by a live rock band.
