Former restaurant up for sale
THE former Little Chef restaurant on the Thanet Way is up for sale again.
The boarded-up Indian and English Chilli restaurant on the London-bound carriageway of the new Thanet Way between Whitstable and Faversham has closed.
Estate agents Ashwell Rogers says the site has already attracted a number of inquiries.
David England said: "We have had interest and we are in discussions with the parties. Something will happen."
To celebrate the opening of our new offices in Canterbury and Whitstable we are offering 50% off our standard selling fees on production of this voucher.
Terms: If you have instructed another agent on a sole agency and/or sale selling rights basis, the terms of those instructions must be considered to avoid possible liability to pay two commissions.
Contact: Whitstable 01227 208268
Valid until: Monday, September 30 2013
The single-storey restaurant, next to the Shell petrol station, has parking for 31 cars. It was boarded up after Chilli ceased trading.
The fully-licensed restaurant opened seven days a week and also provided takeaways options.
Reviewer JerryB62 from Gloucestershire, who stayed at the Travelodge hotel opposite, posted this review on travel site Trip Advisor in November: "Whilst the staff at the Chilli restaurant were very friendly, the place had no customers and the food wasn't very good."
