A WOMAN has died in a crash on the
The 86-year-old woman was travelling on the London-bound dual carriageway at 10.20pm on Wednesday December 2, when her Nissan Micra hit an Audi.
She died at the scene and the driver of the other car was taken to Thanet hospital with an injured leg.
Police closed the road while they cleared the wreckage. The road was reopened at 6am yesterday (Thursday) December 3.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should call 01622 798538.
