“ On the one hand it is hard to ignore the great prices Wetherspoon pubs offer but in the case of Opera House it serves to attract alcoholics during the day and teenagers on weekends. When I was more down at heel I frequented this place but have left that behind. The standout feature of the Opera House is the setting - the Opera House has been kept and is even opened from time to time. I have an older friend from South Africa who wants to go to this pub every time he visits - he just doesn't want to stay and drink! ”
