The Children's Mutual Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is fast approaching and the runners need all the support they can get.

Following our coverage of the lead up to the big day, readers now have the chance to leave messages for friends and family taking on the 13 mile challenge.

Around 2,000 people are expected participate in the race, including our brave volunteers Ruth Atkin, Nathan King, Adrian Connolly and reporter Jessica Thompson.

Leave your messages below to spur on the participants, many of whom will be running their first ever half marathon on Sunday February 28.

“Best of luck to all the runners and special thanks to those supporting the Ickle Pickles charity. We are excited to be part of such a great event and are especially grateful to The Children's Mutual for naming us as their Charity of the Year.

“Another wonderfully organised event over a most challenging course. My thanks to all that run and support the event and, as a consequence, our charity. You may not have heard of us but the condition is the largest cause of unexpected death in people under 40.

I am coming back from Dubai to support everyone involved and only hope for the runners and me it gets slightly warmer !!
