Three men arrested for theft after acting suspiciously in Detling Hill

KENT lorry drivers are asked to be cautious after three men were arrested after acting suspiciously near a lorry parked on Detling Hill.

Kent Police was called at about 1.20am this morning to a layby on the Maidstone-bound carriageway of the A249 Detling Hill.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old man, from London, a 37-year-old man, from Essex, and a 49-year-old man, from London, on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

All three men remain in custody.
