FUN park fans are needed to provide some information on these photos which now form part of the archive of the Dreamland Trust, which is to reopen the Margate attraction in 2012.

In the latest Dreamland Trust newsletter there is an appeal for memories and background from Mandy Wilkins, who is compiling a treasury of past memories, written and spoken.

The archive will form part of the fun park when it reopens in 2012 with an array of classic rides which are now being rebuilt and restored.

Nothing is known really about the photo of the children in the ride with a teacher. Researchers would like to know what period of Dreamland's history it dates from, the name of the ride and when it came to Margate and when it was sold.

The black and white photo appears to be from some time between the 1930s and 1950s. The construction team is from Willett and Baddeley.

Mandy would like to know if it was a local firm and if they constructed other rides at Dreamland. Can anyone name the men in the picture and what was inside that gaping clown's mouth? Was it the entrance to a fun house or a catering concession?

Does anyone know when the building was constructed, demolished and what replaced it?

One of Dreamland's most loved rides forms the subject of the third photo, the scenic railway.

Details needed about the wooden roller coaster include, how did it arrive in Dreamland?

Had it previously operated in the States or did a Thanet timber yard provide the materials for it to be constructed from plans?
