A decent all-rounder
COMBINING some pretty masculine looks, some sporty (ish) handling, decent fuel economy and great all-round versatility, the new Aveo becomes a credible five-door alternative hatchback that delivers little compromise.
The new Aveo has a completely redesigned exterior and cabin, plus a newly developed chassis and body structure that has been engineered to make everyday driving in a small car as enjoyable as possible. In order to ensure this, engineers developed an all-new chassis for the Aveo that is among the most rigid in its segment.
But the Aveo also offers a quiet and relaxed driving experience when you need it.
Fuel efficiency, enjoyable driving and a small environmental footprint were the main criteria guiding the design of the Aveo's engine line-up. The 1.4-litre petrol engine gives the Aveo a more lively acceleration and an immediate feeling of performance during low-speed driving.
