Everyone taking the train or one of many local buses for a day out or short break in Kent can enjoy a wealth of special offers, including 2FOR1 deals, on tickets to attractions, restaurants and even places to stay.

Visit Kent have joined forces with Southeastern, Arriva and Stagecoach to help more people explore Kent's iconic attractions and hidden treasures this season.

"Budgets are tight but getting out and about and having fun is really important," said Sandra Matthews-Marsh, chief executive at Visit Kent. "We have brought our key transport providers together with many of our finest attractions and leisure and hospitality businesses to help everyone discover just how much the Garden of England has to offer."

Go to Visit Kent to download the vouchers, and for details about more than 100 special offers.

With so many people, including overseas visitors, keen to soak up the atmosphere of the Diamond Jubilee, the London Games and Dickensbicentenary celebrations, Visit Kent is also making its money-saving deals available to visitors travelling from mainland Europe.

Passengers taking advantage of Cross-Channel service providers Eurotunnel, DFDS Seaways and P&O Ferries will be able to use their tickets to qualify for the special offers.

"This is first time we have opened up our seasonal special offers to overseas visitors and I'm sure they are going to be very popular, "said Mrs Matthews-Marsh.
