Woman hospitalised after 'hit and run' in Folkestone

POLICE are investigating after a woman in her 40s was knocked down by a car at a petrol station in Folkestone's Park Farm this morning.

Paramedics and police were called to the Sainsbury's garage at about 7.40am.

A black Volkswagen Golf is reported to have hit a woman in her 40s.

She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital by ambulance with leg and ankle injuries.
