CELEBRATIONS for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee went swimmingly over the weekend as the village of Shoreham enjoyed a quackers event.
Hundred turned out for the famous annual duck race, with a huge gaggle of rubber ducks taking to the River Darent.
This year, organisers gave the event a Jubilee and Olympics theme and the entrants came in all shapes, sizes and styles.
Anne-Louise Crocker and her daughters Nell and Tilly Lyle, 11 and nine, created a royal-themed duck.

They have always lived in Shoreham and Ms Crocker said: "I made the costume for our Coronation Duck as I'm a costume maker. I used to work in the theatre in London. The girls very much enjoy attending the race every year."
