Whitstable group calls for residents' Peter Cushing memories
Telling Whitstable's Story community memories group is appealing for memories of Peter Cushing.
These will be included in an exhibition to be held at Whitstable Museum and Gallery this spring to mark the 100th anniversary of the actor's birthday.
Were you a neighbour, or did you chat to him in the street? Did he visit your shop or café? Did you line the streets for his funeral? Do you remember his artistic skills? Were you part of the protection the town extended to him by not giving away his address to autograph hunters?
Anyone with a memory to share is urged to contact TWS member John May at john@mayfam.plus.com to be passed on to the group.
