Weston rescues deserved point for Gills
A PEACH of a goal from Curtis Weston rescued a point for Gillingham at home to Wycombe on Sunday.
The former Leeds midfielder struck with seven minutes remaining to gain a point for his side, and a point was the very least that the performance deserved.

Curtis Weston strikes home the equaliser against Wycombe
After all, they were behind to a team who had not managed a single shot on goal all match and were only ahead thanks to a comical own goal from Stuart Lewis.
That came in the 31st minute when substitute Matt Bloomfield chased down a long ball. Lewis looked to try and shepherd it back to his keeper, but the ball was never going to reach the area, so Simon Royce decided to clear his lines, but his clearance ricocheted back off Lewis and into the unguarded net.
Gills battered their visitors throughout but looked destined to lose 1-0 despite their opponents' lack of shots, until Weston, who had had the best chances for the home side, thumped home the most difficult one of the lot.
Nicky Southall whipped in a free kick that was headed out, only as far as the edge of the area, where Weston was on hand to crash a volley into the back of the net off the underside of the crossbar.
Gills went in search of a winner, but apart from a poor Simeon Jackson header, there was little else for the crowd to cheer.
