RELEGATION threatened Ashford Town lifted their spirits and their hopes of survival in an entertaining 4-2 win over Corinthian Casuals at Homelands.

It was honours even at the interval after on-loan Gills youngster Tom Murphy struck to cancel out Casuals opener from Carlton Murray-Price.

Defender Lee Hockey put Town ahead not long after the break and Mark Lovell continued his good recent form by making it 3-1.

Pacy Murray-Price grabbed his second goal of the game, but Ross Morley made the game safe for Steve Lovell's men who were happy to play out the final 25 minutes to take three points that could prove vital come the end of the season.
