Man stabbed following Otford pub fight
A MAN was stabbed in the arm following a fight in an Otford pub on Saturday.
Police said the 36-year-old had been involved in a "disturbance" with another man while in the garden of The Crown, which is on the High Street.
When he left the pub at 12.30am, he was assaulted by at least two men, one of whom he believes was involved in the earlier incident.
Police would like to hear from anyone with any information about the incident.

“I have known Rick for many years and I have never known him to be aggressive. I have being following the events of this attack with personal interest and at the very least I am glad the Sevenoaks Chronicle has not tried to portray him as a trouble maker but I am amazed a reporter has not been to speak to him, after all he knows the facts. He would have been easy to locate as he had been in hospital until Monday - his operation followed Wednesday. Although the hospital would have preferred him to stay in until his operation he quite understanderbly chose to go home, he did not 'discharge himself'. I hope he recovers well but we won't know for many months the success of the op. Whether this nasty piece of work chooses to be a police informer or not let justice for Rick be the main aim because it is a concern that he might get away with this terrible crime.”

“To the person who left the negative comment.i think you must have meant it the other way round.the man who was stabbed was a very nice,placid person that would help anyone.he did a charity run for still born baby support group,and i think you would struggle to find anyone that would say a bad word against him.i can only imagine that you have got the victim mixed up with the nasty piece of work that stabbed him.i hope they lock the knife man up and throw away the key before he kills someone.this poor fellow may loose use of his hand for good,and at the very least it will be years.keep positive my friend”

“Get well soon dude. I hope the scumbag get's time for this. Stabbed in the arm is an understatement. The knife went in one side and out the other. I hope to god you get to move your hand again! Fingers crossed the operation goes well today. You don't deserve this. the next 18 months I'll have my fingers crossed. Like I said, the police better bang him up-police informative or not he's scum of the earth!!!”
