TWINS at a Tonbridge school stole the show on GCSE results day this week with an incredible 26 A grades between them.

Cecilia and Saskia Ricks, from Tonbridge Grammar School, walked away with a phenomenal 18 A*s and eight As, as well as gaining AS levels to top of a spectacular year.

Saskia scored ten A*s and three As, whilst sister Cecilia notched up eight A*s and five As.

Both were delighted with their results.

"I'm really pleased and it's great as I got my predicted grades. I'm also really pleased my sister did so well," said Saskia.

"I would like to thank my mum and the school for all their hard work."

Cecilia said: "I'm really happy, just like everyone else.

"I also managed to get the grades I was predicted, and better in some of them, so that was good.

"We're both very happy for each other."

Their mum, Veronique Ricks, a teacher at the school, was thrilled for her daughters.

"I'm over the moon, it's brilliant," she said.

"They have worked extremely hard and they deserve it."
