Trust helps sail away from illness
A TEENAGER from Ramsgate has joined other young people in a five-day adventure arranged by the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
Ethan Highstead, 15, of Broadstairs, went sailing with the charity, which works with young people who have had cancer.
Ethan, a Charles Dickens school pupil, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2007. This was the second time he has sailed with the trust. Before the trip, he said, "I'm looking forward to meeting new people and sailing again. The trust has taught me how to interact with other people and work as a team. It's great to be able to talk about my cancer treatment more openly"
