On Sunday the 31st Bucket and Spade Run, organised by the Ramsgate Old Motor and Motor Cycle Club, brought vehicles together from Brogdale Farm at Faversham to Government Acre in Ramsgate.

Steve Howard was one of the originators of the Meltdown, along with Ace Cafe's Mark Wilsmore.

Steve said: "I became a mod because we wanted to be different to the rockers who seemed to be stuck in the 50s."

Bikers raised money for the Royal British Legion from raffles and souvenir sales.
