Tournament successes for superb U11s
MARGATE U11s have continued a successful summer so far by winning the Staines Memorial Tournament playing up a year in the U12s age group.
The tournament success was not their only delight this summer as the boys have finished runners up in their own tournament, playing again in the U12s age group.

In U11s age group they finished runners up at Herne Bay Youth's tournament and won Wye FCs Tournament.
However, their greatest achievement was finishing runners up in the Essex Summer Cup beating strong opposition and only losing by a deflected goal in the final.

The team will be competing next season in the U12s age group next season and is looking to form two teams in the Mitre East Kent Youth League, which starts in September.
Open trials will be held at Dane Park on July 18 with registration taking place at 5.15pm at the Club House.
The trials are for current Year 6 pupils, who will be moving in to Year 7 in September.
