2005: Mr Seldon and other partners agreed and adopted a deed outlining a partner retirement age of 65.
January 2006: Mr Seldon turned 65.
December 2006: H e had to retire.

March 2007: Mr Seldon issued proceedings in the Employment Tribunal but his case was rejected.
July 2008: He took his case to the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
2010: H e took his case to the Court of Appeal.
April 25, 2012: T he Supreme Court unanimously rejected Mr Seldon's appeal and referred the case back to the Employment Tribunal to determine whether 65 was an appropriate retirement age for the firm.
