Under-11s

Margate B v Broadstairs B

WITH both sides looking for their first win of the season, this was always going to be a lively affair.

Broadstairs made a bad start, losing an early wicket, before Ben Pryce (12) and Marius Thompson (25*) steadied the ship and steered a course to a respectable 103-3.

Margate came out fighting, Harry Carter (17*) playing the anchor role, but accurate bowling from Thompson ensured the chase was restricted to 83-2, Broadstairs winning by 20 runs.

Sandwich v Nelson

SOME good fielding from Nelson accounted for both Sandwich openers early doors before Oliver Nedderman (35*) and Lewis Thornby (20) dragged their team back into the game and a total of 103-4.

But Nelson struggled in their reply, Nedderman and Thornby bowling maiden overs.

Tom Coyne (27*) batted well but Nelson were restricted to 68-3, Sandwich winning by 35 runs.

Under-13s

Broadstairs A v Nelson

SECOND-PLACED Broadstairs batted first against league leaders Nelson and got off to a flier as Henry Collier (31*) and Elliot Fox (25*) scored freely to help their side to 127-3.

Nelson's reply struggled initially and Harvey Laws (27*) and Josh Attwell (25*) tried desperately to get their team back into the hunt.

But they were always off the pace, their total of 76-4 giving Broadstairs a comfortable 51-run victory.

Broadstairs B v Margate

THESE sides are both struggling this season but they combined to produce an absolute thriller here.

Broadstairs batted first and their innings turned into a bit of a one-man show as Farjad Yasir (41*) carried his bat to help his side reach 91-4.

The Margate reply slumped to 2-11 before rallying and with five wickets down they needed one run for victory, Aaron Faulkner out last ball as Broadstairs won by virtue of having lost fewer wickets.

Under-15s

Broadstairs B v Old Hartsdonians

WITH their bowlers conceding a hefty 69 extras, Broadstairs were very much the architects of their own downfall as they lost by 35 runs.

This helped Old Hartsdonians to reach 131-4, George O'Neill (25*) ably supported by Todd Jordan (17) and Jack Wheeler (11).

Wheeler picked up 2-15 to leave Broadstairs on the ropes as they eventually struggled to 96-5.

Broadstairs A v Margate

STARTING their innings confidently, Callum Morgan (23) and Alfie Huntley (25) scoring freely for Broadstairs before the innings lost momentum and they were all out for 97.

But Morgan took 2-18 and Craig Adler 2-11 as the Margate reply faltered.

There was a decent knock from Alex Strong (17) but it wasn't enough as his side were bowled out for 64, Broadstairs winning by 33 runs.
