A CREEPY movie based at the Romney Marshes and featuring a young actor from Ashford who was in the cult E4 teen drama series Skins is to be released later this year.

Moths, a film short written and directed by Todd Wearn, has a link with the marshes area which is home to rare moths.

The picture stars 19-year-old Alexander Arnold and was made by Stuffed Fox, a production company formed by University of West London students.

Its mysterious storyline tells of "humans by day, refugees by night, finding any hole in which to crawl as the natural light diminishes, holing up wherever they can to keep them from the outside".

A trailer for the film has been posted on YouTube showing Alexander running into a church at dusk, climbing the clock tower and cowering against a wall.

Alexander has also recently begun shooting a two-part murder thriller for ITV1 called A Mother's Son, in which he appears alongside Doc Martin star Martin Clunes. It is being shot in London and Suffolk.
