Teeanger killed in Broadstairs car crash

An 19-year old man was killed and two teenage girls were seriously hurt this morning after a car crash in Broadstairs.

The two injured girls, both aged 17, are currently in a serious but stable condition in the QEQM Hospital in Margate.

The 18-year old driver and front seat passenger walked away from the wreckage with one of the men treated for minor injuries The families of all involved have been informed.

The five teenagers were travelling in a black Vauxhall Corsa when it careered into a wall on Stone Road just before 4am this morning.

The road remained closed until 11.30am to allow officers to work at the scene and clear debris from the scene.

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses who saw a black Vauxhall Corsa being driven in the Broadstairs area between 3.30am and 4am this morning (Saturday) to call 01622 798538.
