Its busy social calendar included a 1950s Jubilee tea party and the team is marking Euro 2012 with a marquee party for fans with waitress service during big games.
For next month's Olympic torch relay, there will be an outside disco, face painting and ice cream van and an Ultimate Strongman contest.
As well as live music and monthly quiz nights, the Hussar will hold a beer festival later this year.
Punch director Andy Slee said: "This summer is a unique opportunity for pubs to cement their place at the heart of the community and to become the venue to celebrate national events like the Jubilee and sporting fixtures."
With 1,000 extra pints of ale behind the bar, this summer is sure to be a belter.
