TV totty takes a peek at saucy seaside show
A SAUCY seaside sideshow got the attention of top TV totty Kaddy Lee-Preston on a visit to Margate last week.
The BBC weather girl and presenter was in Margate, filming for the regional current affairs show Inside-Out.
Kaddy came to the town to cover Margate's Dippers and Dunkers Burlesque Festival for a new series of the show starting in October.
During her trip Kaddy enjoyed a preview of the curious Sideshow Illusions in Margate's Old Town. She said: "This is the first time I have seen a sideshow so I had no idea what to expect, but it was a real eye-opener. I think it is great how Margate is sprucing itself up and doing something different.
"It is really original, appeals to people of all ages and it's really cool. I think Margate has already started to look heaps better. Maybe it is the sunny weather but everyone seems to have a spring in their step.
"I loved Harbour Arm too and am looking forward to going there again later."
Originally from Blackpool, the Sideshow Illusions were shown over the weekend as part of the festival. The show featured attractions such as "Cleo, The Girl In The Goldfish Bowl" and "The Amazing Electra".
The Dippers and Dunkers festival will continue until August 29.
