IN A rearranged game in Division Three Old Hartsdonians had to concede to Broadstairs C and consequently confirmed their relegation to Division Four.

In Division Five there was not much to play for in the final games except for the wooden spoon battle between Margate's A and B teams.

The B side batted first and in one of their better performances scored 82 before the first wicket fell as Carl Perez (32*), Desh Padiachey (30*) and Jack Brooks (20) all scored well.

But the tail collapsed to a total of 119. Barry Foad (1-14) was pick of the A side bowlers.

Debbie Daley picked up a wicket for the B's in her first over, but Jack Plowman (16) and then Jacob Foad (26*) and Barry Foad (27*) who both retired gave the A side a chance.

However, Perez 1-13 pegged down the tail and he helped to restrict the A side to 114 and to lose by five runs.

All Trades changed their batting order against Dumpton Youth but it did not pay off.

Phil Lilley (15), Paul Ray (17) gave Traders a good start but the tail folded and they were bowled out for 82.

Natalie O'Connell (15) and Belt (17) saw Dumpton off to a steady start, but were soon in trouble at 60-5. Rob Fowles (27*) held his nerve though to seal the win.

Nelson A and Old Harts D could only manage five players each in their game. The Old Boys batted first and scored steadily, Richard Justice (32) held the side together as they reached a respectable total of 97. Simon Page (1-15) soon had Nelson in trouble but Jefferson Hurrell (13) and Walton (16) recovered the situation until Tim Davies was introduced he picked up 2-17 as Nelson were bowled out for 72.
