IGHTAM Primary School has won the Malling and Sevenoaks Partnership Key Stage 1 Intra inter league for the first time, defeating 39 other schools.

Headteacher June cooke said: "We are very proud and delighted to have won the league. It embraces the Every Child Matters agenda by involving children of all abilities at a personal level of engagement.

"It encourages every child to develop skills and to try and beat their own scores."

The league consists of five rounds, each featuring a different event – either running, jumping or throwing.
