Specials Horace Launches Exhibit
The Specials' bass guitarist, Horace Panter, was at the Space Gallery in the Old High Street to launch the exhibit of his Peter Blake-inspired paintings and collages.
The works included collages of the life of his musical his musical heroes, a portrait of bandmate Lynville Golding, and paintings of people he has met and places he has visited.
He was also signing copies of his new book, Ska'd For Life, while the Ska Shack DJs, Lee and Toast, played top rankin' ska and reggae music in the Ska Bar set up in the gallery's back garden.
The exhibition was part of Skabour, the three-day musical festival celebrating all the best in ska and reggae music.
