Sittingbourne girl charged with assaulting a police officer
A SITTINGBOURNE girl has been charged with racially aggravated disorder and assaulting a police officer.
The 17-year-old was arrested following an incident in Ypres Drive, Kemsley, on Tuesday in which she attempted to make off without paying for a taxi.
She was charged with making off without payment, a racially aggravated public order offence and two counts of assault on a police officer before being bailed to appear at Maidstone Youth Court on June 11.
