"They have had their time off but from Saturday onwards it is down to business and the serious stuff happens again.

"I am also keen to have a look at some of the non-contracted players we have got coming as well. There is always an element of surprise with triallists, you never know what you might find.

"I am hoping that I can find a real star, a diamond in the rough that can help us out next season.

"I am expecting everyone to be at the session on Saturday."

When Halsey says everyone, he means everyone, including Byron Walker.

Walker has been linked with a move away from the club and Halsey has made it known that he wants to keep him.

And as far as the manager is concerned, Walker will report for training like everyone else.

Halsey added: "Byron is still our player and I am looking forward to seeing him."

Halsey has yet to make a signing during the summer off-season but did say he is hopeful of securing a couple of signatures in time for the big kick-off in mid-August.
