SHOPPERS hoping to find a festive bargain have been flocking to a new store in Folkestone today.

The 99p Store opened its doors to the public this morning and hundreds of customers took advantage of its offers on its first day of business.

Around 30 new jobs have been created by the company, which also opened a similar shop in Ashford high street in August.

All products are priced at 99p and include toiletries, food, and Christmas gift ideas.

The company has set up its 125th business at the former Woolworths store in Sandgate Road, Folkestone.
