Shop's gear features in flashback to the 60s
A VINTAGE shop is marking the anniversary of a Mods and Rockers riot in Margate by donating authentic clothing to a new Margate Museum exhibition opening this weekend.
The bank holiday clashes in Whitsun 1964 on Margate Sands made national news headlines and Old Town menswear merchants Breuer and Dawson will supply fashion from the time.

Paul and Matt opened their emerald emporium in King Street last month and have already been acclaimed by top fashion designer Sir Paul Smith.
Paul Breuer has lived in Kent for a decade and made his name buying and selling vintage goods on his Portobello and Camden Market stalls. His stall, Paul's Place, attracted the attention of art graduate Matt Dawson and the pair joined forces.

Matt made the move with his family to set up a shop in Margate's Old Town.
Matt said: "We couldn't resist the idea of opening a shop together as a natural progression of our friendship and mutual passion for all things vintage.
"We're happy to help the Museum with the exhibition as 1964 was such a rich time for fashion and culture."
The new exhibition, Mods Rockers & Margate: In Their Words, opens on Saturday.
