Thanet Magistrates Court has been evacuated after the second bomb scare in two weeks.

The court was cleared in the middle of a case shortly after noon today following a phone call, with police moving in to search the premises.

The scare comes less than two weeks after a similar phone call on Tuesday, August 25, when police sealed off the whole of Cecil Square and evacuated nearby shops and the neighbouring Thanet council offices.
