Sax star to play festival

SAXOPHONIST John Harle, former artistic advisor to Sir Paul McCartney, is one of the stars of the Deal Festival.

His Sospiro Saxophones will be at St George's church on Wednesday July 4 exploring the music of Shakespeare's lute-player Robert Johnson.

Harle claims to be the most recorded saxophonist in the world.

He has played in the Last Night of the Proms, conducted the London Symphony Orchestra and composed more than 100 film and TV scores including Silent Witness.
