WHO'S WHO: Parties at the inquiry
FOR THE COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER (CPO)
Thanet District Council. The council is represented by Martin Edwards, a specialist in environment and planning law including several notable local authority cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
The Dreamland Trust, led by chairman Nick Laister (pictured). Mr Laister is a chartered town planner and senior director with RPS, the UK's largest planning consultancy. He is an expert on amusements and member of British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions.
AGAINST THE CPO
Margate Town Centre Regeneration Company (led by Toby Hunter, pictured). The owners are represented by Richard Glover QC, whose previous clients include the London Development Agency in its CPO to acquire land for the Olympics this year
Close Brothers. Close Brothers' counsel is Christopher Boyle, who opposed CPOs for retail chains in Wolverhampton and Sheffield. He is a member of the Academy of Urbanism which awarded Margate Old Town a Great Neighbourhood award last year.

maybe change around things to avoid later disapointment......
its time to think over things , in a different type of mode...”
