Roles for Ben
HOT on the heels of his success in the highly acclaimed variety nights organised by the University Centre in Folkestone (UCF), young Dover actor Ben Steele has won more roles.
Teenager Ben, a first year drama undergraduate at UCF, was cast as John in The Next Big Thing, a play written and directed by third year performing arts students as part of their degree.
The play tells the story of a reality TV talent show and the lengths to which people will go to win.
Ben was one of only two first year students to be cast in the play, the other was Ben's comedy partner in the variety night shows, Jack Blundell.

In between studying for his first year exams, Ben is currently working on a two-man comedy show with Jack. The pair will perform at the Quarterhouse in September.
He is also putting the finishing touches on his comedy-horror movie Merry Z-Day, shot last summer, which he hopes to premiere at the Quarterhouse this December.
