JIM WARD is ready to hit the dancefloor when Ramsgate launch their pre-season campaign tomorrow (Saturday).

Rams are to Great Yarmouth for a trip which doubles up as a team-bonding exercise.

Veteran boss Ward thinks his players are the fittest they've been in years ahead of he Yarmouth friendly.

He said: "The players have all worked their socks off, which is really pleasing because they know how important fitness will be if we're going to press teams next season.

"We'll have a drink and a night out after the game – a bonding exercise and they're the modern thing to do.

"Will I be joining them in the nightclubs? You know me, I'll be there with my dancing shoes on!"
