Rail disruption on Sunday for Whitstable travellers
Rail passengers face the disruption and discomfort of a ride on a replacement bus service on Sunday (April 29) as Southeastern carries out engineering work on the line between Faversham and Ramsgate.
The stations affected are: Birchington-on-Sea, Broadstairs, Chestfield & Swalecliffe, Dumpton Park, Herne Bay, Margate, Westgate-on Sea and Whitstable.

Ho-hum: buses not trains on Sunday
Details of the bus services and the connecting trains are on display at the station; buses to and from Whitstable will run from outside the station on the ticket-hall side in Old Bridge Road.
"Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes," says the National Rail site.
