Professional David Jason double says life is just lovely jubbly
MANGE tout, is that Del Boy walking around Tunbridge Wells?
Professional David Jason double, Simon Walters, is used to hearing shouts of "lovely jubbly" everywhere he goes but he insists it's all just cushty.
For seven years he has worked as a stand-in for the much-only loved Fools and Horses and Touch of Frost star.
"I suppose it started when I was in a supermarket and some people were shouting "Del Boy" or "David Jason" at me so I decided to see if there was any mileage in it," he told the Courier.

After starting doing lookalike work at corporate parties and events he was soon in front of the camera filling in for David Jason when the actor was not on set.
He has worked on shows including A Touch of Frost and the adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Colour of Magic.
"David was always very pleasant and entertaining. When he's working on scenes he is very intense but when you cut he is really happy and entertaining.
"We look so alike that one day he came up to me and said 'I'm going home and you can do the rest of it'.
"I would never give it up but that is up to circumstances. Last time I spoke to him I said 'don't get ill, this is my livelihood you're playing with.'"
Mr Walters is currently touring people around The Pantiles on the Ghost Walk.
