Police appeal for witnesses after fight outside Folkestone Academy
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pupil was punched in the face outside the Folkestone Academy at 5pm on Monday.
Officers were called to the scene after a large crowd gathered to watch two male youths, believed to be arguing over girls, fighting in the street.
One man, a father of a pupil, was arrested at the scene for public order offences and was issued with a fixed penalty.
A police spokesman said: "One of the boys sustained slight facial injuries, and inquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the second youth."

“Good argument Mick, particuarly liked the linking of 'what you say' and 'facts'.
To call something a fact you should have proof.
Here is a fact, and the proof is your comment - YOU ARE AN IDIOT.”

“Kids being kids. Bit of a scrap. It got stopped. That isn't the problem and sounds more civilised than most of East Folkestone on Friday and Saturday night.
The problem is 'the Dad' that got a fixed penalty - what the hell was he doing? It's all cyclical in Folkestone - scum parents bring up scum kids. The town needs levelling.”
