Police appeal for information after fishing gear theft
POLICE want to reel in a thief after £7500 worth of fishing gear was stolen from a Ramsgate shed.
The theft, from a garden in Montefiore Avenue, was reported to police in February but it is not known exactly when the items were stolen.
Some of the items stolen may well have been sold on. These include: four Shimano 3.5lb test curve carp fishing rods, one Shimano 2lb test curve carp rod and one Shimano marker rod.
The rods are black and each has a fleur de lis on the handle of the rod, with "Winner of the British national" also engraved on the rods in gold writing with T. Turner written on a gold disc.
