Plans submitted for Southborough homeless shelter
Controversial plans to set up a homeless shelter in Southborough have been submitted to the borough council.
The direct access night shelter could open by December if plans are approved to use St John's Methodist Church hall on Vale Road.
Christian charity the Wayfarer Project wants to use the sanctuary to house up to 12 rough sleepers each night.
Residents have until March 12 to object to the plans.
