Pensioner dies after crash in Mount Pleasant Road in Tunbridge Wells
AN ELDERLY woman has died after a collision with a vehicle in Mount Pleasant Road in Tunbridge Wells.
The incident involving a white Ford Transit van happened just after 2pm outside Hoopers department store close to the town's railway station.

Ambulance crews and police officers attended the scene but despite efforts to revive her, the woman died of the head injuries sustained in the accident.
Officers from Kent Police are this afternoon attempting to contact the next of kin and the road is currently closed. The coroner has been notified.
