Back in town: Wayne Parnell has returned to Kent after his World Twenty20 stint with South Africa.
But he'll miss finals day if Kent go through.
The highly rated 19-year-old left-armer, who impressed during his initial stint at the St Lawrence ground earlier in the summer, will be with the cub from July 10 until August 4.
He's eligible for the quarter-final with the Durham Dynamos, as well as three LV County Championship matches and the floodlit Nat West Pro40 game, away at Glamorgan Dragons.
Chief executive Paul Millman said: "This is great news for the club. We are delighted to be able to bring Wayne back because he made such a big impact in his initial spell.
"The team have done really well to win a tough group and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Twenty20 Cup. Wayne's return will only help our prospects for the quarter-final against Durham.
"It would have been nice to keep him here for a slightly longer period but the South African Cricket Board are keen for him to fulfil international commitments later in the summer."
