Paris Brown snubs One Show and I'm a Celebrity
POLICE bad girl Paris Brown has snubbed offers to appear on the One Show with Alex Jones and Matt Baker.
The 17-year-old who stepped down as Kent’s youth commissioner for a string of offensive tweets is “not doing any media”, according to her spokesman Jonathan Hawker.
Mr Hawker said that there is “no truth” in rumours that she has been approached by ITV1 bosses to appear in the smash hit prime time telly show, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here presented by Ant and Dec.
Mr Hawker said: “Paris has had millions of inquiries but she doesn’t want to do any media at all at the moment.
“She has been approached to write articles for the media and discussion shows like the One Show but she has turned it down.
“As far as I’m A Celebrity is concerned, that’s just a rumour that’s been made up. She hasn’t been approached by the programme makers.”
At 17, she would be too young to appear in most TV reality shows, such as Celebrity Big Brother.
Miss Brown, of Sheerness, worked for Ann Barnes, the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner for less than a week when a national newspaper exposed her tweets, which some considered racist and homophobic.
She faced a police investigation but the force decided not to proceed last weekend.
A spokesman for Mrs Barnes said: “We wish Paris well in the future in whatever she decides to do.”
